Here are two excellent examples of the first essay my World History AP students complete. They are challenged to justify, and evaluate Arthur Marwicks claim that History should be studied because, "History is to the community, as memory is to the individual."

20% of my World Religions class is devoted to the study of Western Ethics. Here are three examples of the projects they complete during the year.
The first is a "glog" promoting personal ethics. One is a survey paper comparing three Western Ethical Philosophers and their ideas. Another is an original code of ethics with a reflection. The fourth is a review of a code of ethics produced by a third party. Enjoy!
Four excellent projects completed for the World Religions class. The first is a glog, one is a quiz, another a book review, and then final one is a report on an interview with a person of faith.
